Aquatic Ruin - 2D Landscape and Color Exploration

Based off of the third zone from Sonic The Hedgehog 2, this piece sees layers of mountains, hills, ruins and lush foliage, flooded and flowing with water. In this piece I aimed to create an aesthetically pleasing color palette, and also a semi-realistic albeit stylized water effect, which I believe I succeeded at!
